Ruefey is 1 year old this month! Wow, he is a funny dog! He is also very protective, I think too protective. My 6 kids play rough with him and he loves it, but- he can get too agressive if he thinks they are going to hurt each other. I can’t get him to stay in the yard- he jumps the fence and goes completely around the block. I just let him, he knocks on the front door when he is back. He thinks he is a person and gives hugs without catching his nails on you(arms around your waist. We love him and he loves us! He is a crybaby when we have been gone for a few hours- he lets us know how much he missed us:) (loud happy whining)

My dog is 7mo and does not drool, he has the st.benard as the dad so he has lab hair- I think the mom as the st. benard would make them drool, not sure. He has lots of loose skin like a st. benard and it is getting looser every month. Hope this helps.

Oh, and I figured something out about Ruefey, he makes noises like a bear. Benard in Latin is Beri, which means bear- it all makes sense.
Bear does that too and he is only 4 months old. When he is playing with my other two (not Labranard) he sounds like that.
Riley does this. When he wants to go outside which is a constant he will talk to you in his bear growl.

Ruefey, (Wolfey), is almost 7 mo old and can dig a hole that fits half his body in it. He drags me when we go for a walk. I am 130 lbs and not so sure I wll be able to walk him when he is full grown. He can pull on a rope and drag my husband in a chair across the floor. They are crazy strong dogs. It’s funny, he will chew and nibble on all 5 kids but does not dare mess with the 2 year old. He is an excellent watch dog for kids. We love him!!

Looks just like my dog, with different color face. What is your dogs temperment? Mine has the st. Benard as the dad and the lab as the mom. He is a funny dog.

Ruefy (wolfey) is 5 mo old now and huge! Probably 60 lbs. He is very playful and protective. I think too protective. He does not like fighting and there are 6 kids in this house, he likes to attack whoever is hitting someone. He has even come after me while disciplining my kids. He is a puppy and I hope he grows out of this stage. He will stop when I say no! sit down! We love him!

4mo old and tripled in size. collar does not fit anymore! whew! Has a new name of Buefy because my baby is talking now and that is what she calls him. Wolfey, Ruefy, and Buefy, he knows his name!

I have had to loosen his collar twice in less than 3 weeks. He is now 12 weeks old and loves all six of my kids. He cries every time each one of them comes home. He is family.
