I have had several trainers tell me that the right mix of lab and st bernard create the perfect service dogs! I have heard many people refer to Harlee, my labranard, as a super lab! And she is! She had the strength of a St, but the smarts and agility of a lab. She can [...]

Bru and i have been together a little over a year now, and it has been a learning experience for both of us!!! I got him March 2011, as a b-day present from my son, whose lab and st. got together. I am retired with several health issues, and had been contemplating starting a pup [...]

Sorry about that. I usually get email notifications when new pictures are added to the Flickr photostream. They are on now.

joined flickr.com and added the labranard photostream as one of my groups. Downloaded 2 pics, one of Abbey with her newborn pups, and the male pup that just got returned to me, now 5 mo. old. Don’t see them in the photostream yet, will check back tomorrow.

Also had an “accident” litter, now they are 5 mo. old. Believe me when I say this was an accident made in heaven! Was so apprehensive about the new arrivals, but was pleasantly surprised by these magnificent pups. Had never heard of Labranards. They are one of the most handsome breeds and as smart, too. [...]

Almost 4 years ago, we had an accident litter. Our black lab messed around with friends’ block head Saint. The 9 puppy litter that was born 2 months later was wonderful. That is when I found this website. Now, One of the puppies out of that first accident was bred with our AKC Saint, Marlee. [...]

Our “little” girl, Kenna, is about 11 months old, and was purchased “secondhand” from a family whose kids were allergic to her. She is a sweet dog, looks like a Saint with her coloring (brown and white with black diamonds over her eyes), but her body is all Lab except for the long-furred, feathered tail. [...]

I’m back and glad to see the site is thriving now! Thanks for your work on this! Maria is now 2 years old, weighs about 85 lbs. and is such a good girl! Still all black with just a faintest brush of white on her chin. The only indications she’s part St. Bernard would be [...]

ok so Riley is now 6 months old. He ways just 35lbs but his size continues to grow.he looks like a Teacup St Bernard ( I call him that actually ). The only lab on him other than his nose although Lab and St Bernards nose look similar , But his hind legs are almost bald from the knee down yah I pick on him about it. He is my bud I hope he will enjoy golf this summer. I plan to take him golfing with me and allow him to run as he wishes. Ok so if I am to be honest running is not on his to-do list , unless he is running to get a treat. Needless to say I love my Miniature St Bernard.

Oh yeah… one more thing… about the food. Our vet had recommended Canidae – all pet stages lamb and rice or chicken and rice, or all protein. Bella did great on the all protein but our other dog Jack didn’t, so the vet had recommended either of the rice varieties and now they are both [...]

And… Riley sounds great! SO much like Bella! She is way to smart for her own good, but can act like she knows nothing and is completely innocent.

Our vet said that with “GIANT” breed dogs, it is safer to do the “fixing” when they are smaller (around 3 months for Bella). I’m not sure if the same goes for Males…
