We have been playing with his paws to get him used to people touching them so hopefully when it comes time to needing a trim he will just be curious as to what's going on but not fearful and pull away. We do have carpeting upstairs and we let him explore up there once but figured it would be a good idea to keep him downstairs until he is potty trained cause it's just easier to clean up accidents on hardwood. Yesterday was an exciting day!! He started going to the door by himself when he needs to go out. He's finally gotten used to the three steps leading to the back door and doesn't have to be coaxed down them thank goodness he's too big to be carrying up and down the steps lol

Heidi, sounds like Zeus is going to enjoy staying with you! A little advice from someone who also has hardwood floors - keep Zeus' nails trimmed. :) Our Roxie has caused some major dents in the hardwood in our house from her nails pushing in. 120lbs of dog with long nails isn't great for hardwood. :)

Hi there, on December 23rd we got our new puppy Zeus. He is black lab st Bernard mix and a big boy already. He will be 10 weeks tomorrow and weighs over 25 pounds!! So far he has been great we are working on potty training and usually there is one accident per day in the house but only because I will start doing something and not realize he needs to go and he goes often. We do have a 2 gallon water dispenser available for him at all times. He has such a personality already!! We have not bought a kennel for him and I don't know if we will. We took a blanket with us when we picked him up and that lays on the floor in our bedroom and he takes all his toys to his blanket. We have tried to bring his toys else where for him to play with and he just picks them up and takes them back to his blanket lol. He seems to get hot very easily luckily we have hard wood floors so he finds a cool spot. Just wanted to share my experience thus far with our new labranard Zeus

I met a Labranard for the first time and fell in love. Are there breeders for Labranards? How do I go about finding one?
