Labranard Community

As you probably noticed, Labranard.com has been pretty stagnant for a while now. I’m hoping to change that shortly. Within the next few weeks I am going to attempt to roll out a new site that includes a ‘community’ component. In this age of social networking, it would be nice to be able to connect with other people who own or love the Saint Bernard / Labrador mixed breed dogs we know as the Labranard.
If you have any suggestions on what you’d like to see in a community site, please feel free to comment on this post. I’ll do my best to address any requests in the initial launch. Anything that can’t be done immediately will be added to the Todo list to be tackled as time permits.

Does anyone know how to find a labranard??? We have been searching EVERYWHERE and have found just one litter and the person won’t return my emails

I’ve had Chance for a couple of years now and he’s been such an amazing dog that I had to know what mix went into making this perfect dog. I had him dna tested. Turns out he is half St. Bernard & the other half is a Lab/Rottweiler mix. At first I was shocked but it explains a lot. Like why he is such a gentle soul. I went looking to see if there was any information on this mix and found your site. I’m glad it exists.
One of the posts I read about a possible glucosamine sensitivity was a big help. Chance has an appt. for tests in the morning but now that you mention it … his problems began right about the time I introduced a new treat … a chicken jerky with glucosamine for healthier bones & joints.
And it would be great to be able to see profiles of all the other labranards out there, I’d be curious to see what common traits these dogs share … besides being perfect
i just got my own labranard she is very smart! potty trained in 2 days at 4 months old!!! she is great with the kids but terrified of storms. i think it would be great to have a site where we could share information and advice.

HI all! I’m happy to see the interest in a new Labranard community. I have to apologize because “real life” has kept me from getting the new site finished. I’m hoping to roll out some initial functionality shortly and then follow that with more features. The big one I’m waiting for is a more complete photo album because I know everyone wants to share their pictures!

I met a Labranard for the first time and fell in love. Are there breeders for Labranards? How do I go about finding one?
